KBAO-TV, virtual and VHF digital channel 13, is a television station licensed to Lewistown, Montana, United States, that is affiliated with NBC. Owned by Sunbelt Communications, it is sister to Fox affiliate KFBB-TV (channel 5) and MyNetworkTV affiliate KPAX-TV (channel 8).

KBAO first signed on the air on September 1, 1953, as a CBS affiliate. It switched to NBC in 1957. The station was originally owned by the Lewistown Broadcasting Company. In 1974, it was acquired by the current owner, Sunbelt Communications.
KBAO is a Class A television station. Its signal reaches parts of central and eastern Montana, including the cities of Lewistown, Great Falls, Helena, and Billings. The station is also available on cable and satellite TV in the Great Falls market.
KBAO’s programming consists of a mix of NBC network shows, syndicated programming, and local news and sports. The station also produces a weekly public affairs program called “Montana Matters.”
