Aljazeera is a Qatari state-funded broadcaster in Doha, Qatar, owned by the Al Jazeera Media Network. Initially launched as an Arabic news and current affairs satellite TV channel, Al Jazeera has since expanded into a network with several outlets, including the Internet and specialty television channels in multiple languages.
Al Jazeera Media Network is owned by the government of Qatar.
Al Jazeera Media Network has stated that they are editorially independent from the government of Qatar as the network is funded through loans and grants rather than government subsidies. Critics have accused Al Jazeera of being a propaganda outlet for the Qatari government.
The network is sometimes perceived to have mainly Islamist perspectives, promoting the Muslim Brotherhood, and having a pro-Sunni and an anti-Shia bias in its reporting of regional issues. Al Jazeera covers all sides of a debate; it says it presents Israel’s view, Iran’s view and even aired videos released by Osama bin Laden.

Aljazeera America
Al Jazeera America was an American pay television news channel owned by the Al Jazeera Media Network. The channel was launched on August 20, 2013 to compete with CNN, HLN, MSNBC, Fox News, and in certain markets, RT America.
It was Al Jazeera’s second entry into the U.S. television market, after the launch of beIN Sports in 2012. The channel, which had persistently low ratings, announced in January 2016 that it would close on April 12, 2016, citing the “economic landscape”.
Al Jazeera America was headquartered and run from studios on the first floor of the Manhattan Center in New York City. It also had a total of 12 bureaus located in places such as Washington, D.C., at the channel’s D.C. studios at the Newseum and Al Jazeera’s D.C. hub, Chicago, Detroit, Nashville, Los Angeles, Seattle, New Orleans, Dallas, Denver, Miami, and San Francisco (former headquarters of Current TV and current headquarters of online channel AJ+).
The channel was the sister channel of Al Jazeera’s international English language news channel Al Jazeera English. Although operated and managed completely separately with America’s management based in the United States, the two shared United States studios and bureaus such as the D.C. hub and Al Jazeera America ran some of Al Jazeera English’s programming and many of its live newscasts alongside its own.

Aljazeera 101 East
101 East is a multi award-winning weekly television programme, broadcast by Al Jazeera English, that produces in-depth investigative documentaries from across Asia and the Pacific. The show launched in 2006 and operates out of Al Jazeera’s Asia bureau in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Aljazeera FC
Aljazeera is a football club from the capital of the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi. They play in the UAE Arabian Gulf League. It was established in 1974 as a merger between Khalidiyah and Al Bateen.
The Club has produced talented homegrown players such as Ali Mabkhout and Khalfan Mubarak and many others that would end up playing for the UAE on an international level.
